Microsoft（微软）在官方技术论坛中宣布，将于 2022 年 6 月 15 日删除个人版 Win10 中的 Internet Explore（IE）浏览器，而由于企业需要，LTSC 长期服务版 Win10 将继续保留。
此外，Microsoft Office 365 将于 2021 年 8 月 17 日后停止支持 IE 11 浏览器。虽然 IE 浏览器被删除，但它将以 Edge 浏览器 IE 模式继续工作。
Internet Explore 浏览器是微软于 1995 年推出的一款网页浏览器。原称 Microsoft Internet Explorer（6 版本以前）和 Windows Internet Explorer（7、8、9、10、11 版本）。在 IE7 以前，中文直译为“网络探路者”，但在 IE7 以后官方便直接俗称 "IE 浏览器"。
2015 年 3 月Microsoft 确认将放弃 IE 品牌。转而在 Windows 10 上，用 Microsoft Edge 取代了 Internet Explorer。
